Terms and conditions:

InTuition Languages endeavour to place a student in the region of their first choice wherever possible, but reserve the right to place them in another area if there is no compatible host tutor in the areas they have chosen.

InTuition Languages on behalf of the Host Tutor reserves the right to vary or cancel courses without prior notice and have the ultimate decision on where the student stays. InTuition Languages also reserve the right to change the allocated teacher before or during the course if this becomes necessary.

In the unusual event of a host tutor not being available, InTuition Languages reserve the right to recommend a homestay with one family and lessons with an outside teacher if a teacher family cannot be found.

Please note that notification of any problem is the responsibility of the student. In the event of discovery of any serious health problem/contagious illness, mental or physical handicap not disclosed at the time of booking, or criminal or antisocial behaviour on the part of a student, InTuition Languages reserve the right to terminate the course and repatriate that student at their own cost and without refund of fees.

Complaints Procedure:

InTuition Languages cannot accept any retrospective claim or complaint from a student. Problems must be brought to the attention of InTuition Languages during the course, either by the student directly, or through their agent. InTuition Languages will handle and resolve any problem brought to our attention during the course with extreme delicacy and tact and will, if necessary, move the student to a new Host tutor with a minimum of disruption.

Liability:

InTuition Languages Ltd. only acts as agent between its students and travel organisations and the host tutors. Under no circumstances can InTuition Languages Ltd be held responsible for any injury, damage loss, delay or accident which may happen during the student's stay with the host family, or as a result of activities they take part in during their stay, or whilst travelling to and from the student's home, or loss of property. No monies can be refunded for any reason including lessons missed by students due to illness or absence. InTuition Languages Ltd nor the host family is responsible for students' personal possessions. It is an explicit condition of enrolment that students accept full financial responsibility for any damage caused by them to the host tutor's property during the course.

Insurance All European Union students travelling within the EU are advised to get the European Health Insurance Card, as well as insurance cover against cancellation and loss of property. students can purchase student travel insurance with Endsleigh on www.intuitionlang.com/student-zone.

Payment conditions:

We email invoices to you at the time of the course confirmation letter. We do not post invoices so please pay the email invoice. Students may not be allowed to start their course unless full payment has been received by InTuition Languages Ltd, on behalf of the tutor. For courses booked 30 days or more before the starting date a non-returnable deposit of £150/€200/$240 is payable immediately on receipt of invoice. For courses booked within 30 days of the starting date total fees must be paid immediately on receipt of invoice. Students will not be allowed to start their course unless full payment has been received by InTuition Languages Ltd, on behalf of the tutor.

Cancellation Policy:

For cancellations up to 10 working days before the course starts, there will only be a cancellation fee of £150/€200/$240. Cancellations  received between 10 and 6 working days before the course starts, there will be a charge of 50% of the total programme fee. For cancellation within 5 days of course start,100% of the total course fees are payable. Any changes of course details once confirmation letter issued, are subject to £75/€100/$120 fee. Fees are not reimbursed if the student arrives late or departs before the end of the course. All cancellations must be received in writing.

Postponements:

Students can postpone their course up to 10 working days before the start of the programme and must rebook at the same time in order not to incur cancellation fees. Postponing your course at this point will incur an administration charge of £75/€100/$120. If you postpone less than 10 days before the start of the course, our standard cancellation terms apply.
