3. What resources do I need?

Apart from a quiet room in which to hold the lessons, it is important to have a Audio cassette player with a microphone that can sit on the desk. A small whiteboard is also an excellent resource.  In terms of resource materials, the more authentic material the better, although core course books and resource books, like a Grammar book for the lower and intermediate levels and a pronunciation course and voabulary building books enable you to have the essential tools.  Coloured pens and paper as you would expect.  Access to the web is an increasingly important tool.
