Megan is an ex-state school teacher with a BSc Honours degree and many years' experience of teaching English one-to-one. She also has experience in careers counselling, retail management, the pop music industry and publishing, and specialises in teaching Business and Medical English. She has taught PET, FCE, CAE, IELTS, TOEIC and the Test of Spoken English (used for U.S. entry).

Home/location

The house is on the spectacular West Coast of Wales and just a short walk from beach. Haverfordwest town is 10 minutes by car. They have broadband and students can access the internet via their own laptops.

Student's room

A tastefully decorated double bedroom plus a separate study/sitting room.

Family/interests

Megan and her husband Clive are Londoners and their household is very English. Megan writes fiction, plays the clarinet, loves the ballet and heavy rock. She likes cooking and Clive repairs antiques.

Pets

They have none.

Smoking

No one in the family smokes. Students may do so in the garden.
