PGCE in ESOL, BA (Hons) and Certificate in Management Studies. Cathy has taught in Cambodia, China and Botswana as well as in Edinburgh. She also worked on a national newspaper for several years.

Home/location

Cathy lives only 10 minutes' walk from the Royal Mile and within easy reach of the city centre by bus. It is a comfortable third floor flat in a traditional Edinburgh building. From the living room there is a magnificent view of Holyrood Park and Arthur's Seat.

Student's room

A comfortable, well-furnished room with TV.

Family members/interests

Cathy is a very warm and sociable person as well as a very experienced and capable teacher. She is interested in walking, reading, meeting friends, cinema and swimming. There is a computer the students can use. The meadowbank Sports Centre is close at hand.

Pets

She has none.

Smoking

Hers is a non-smoking household. She would accept smokers who only smoke outside the house.
