Chris has 15 years' experience of one to one and group teaching. He is a professional writer of website/magazine articles and the author of two books of fiction and a novella. He is able to prepare students for the PET, FCE, CAE and CPE Cambridge exams.

Home/location

They live in a large house in the quiet centre of the old picturesque fishing village of Boscastle on the North Cornish coast. It is 5 minutes' walk to the harbour, sea, cliffs and Cornwall's spectacular Coastal path. There are nearby beaches for swimming and surfing. King Arthur's castle at Tintagel is 3 miles away.

Student's room

There are 2 rooms, both newly decorated, with TV and tea/coffee facilities. There is also a private study room and lounge. There is a private bathroom when choosing for the Prestige Option.

Family/interests

Chris and his wife Diana have two daughters and a son.

They are interested in walking, countryside and cliffs, sport, literature, King Arthur history and legend, music, village life & pubs, stained glass making, creative writing, dance, photography, films & theatre, cooking, English and British Heritage and gardening.

Pets

They have a Collie dog called Kaya.

Smoking

Chris smokes, but is a considerate smoker.
