She is also experienced in teaching for the Cambridge exams including IELTS.

Home/Location

She lives in Cambridge just near the railway station and town centre. It is a colourful area with lots of shops. There is wireless internet connection.

Student’s Room

The twin room is tastefully decorated, very spacious, and airy. There is a desk and a useful library of Dictionary, Thesaurus, Encyclopaedia, etc.

Family/Interests

Stephanie is very sociable and always happy to help students plan interesting excursions during their programme to enjoy the best possible experience with her. She is interested in politics, health, arts, cooking, cinema, and English literature. She is also a member of the National Trust, founded in 1895 to preserve places of historic interest or natural beauty permanently for the nation to enjoy.

David and his wife are both qualified to teach English as a foreign language. David is DELTA qualified and Jood holds a CELTA certificate. David worked as a Teacher and Director of Studies at some leading British Council language schools in the UK and International House in Portugal.

Sample Homestay Tutor in Cambridge, England

estellesalmonEstelle and her husband Terry are CELTA trained and they have also run a Software business. She has prepared many students for the Cambridge exams and TOEIC.

Home/location

They live in a newly-built town house on 3 floors, with all the living space on the ground floor. The area is very quiet, and it is only a three minute walk to the bus stop for the city centre. Buses run every ten minutes. It is possible to walk to Cambridge city centre in 20 minutes. This is, by the way, a lovely walk along the river Cam. Students can borrow a bike if they wish.

Student's room

Students are likely to occupy a first-floor bedroom, with a built-in wardrobe and storage space, armchair, bedside table, and writing desk. They also have wi-fi internet connection.

Family/interests

Estelle is interested in theatre, cooking, music, local history, countryside and walking. Her partner Terry enjoys Italian history and culture, cinema, music, museums and walking.
