Penny holds the TEFL Diploma. She has taught both a wide range of Professional, General English and Cambridge exam courses in the UK and in Paris. She specialises in presentations, negotiations and meetings. Penny is very experienced in the preparation of all the Cambridge exams, TOEFL and TOEIC, and has experience in class as well as one-to-one tuition. Her husband Bob is a Publishing Manager for the ELT Division of Oxford University Press.

Home/location

Penny and her husband live in the Heart of England, in a small village three miles east of Abingdon and eight miles from Oxford. They live in a very comfortable mid-Victorian house with four bedrooms and a large garden with farmland immediately behind. They live opposite a country pub and the Thomas' Tennis Club where there are sports facilities, including indoor and outdoor tennis courts. They also have wireless internet access.

Student's room

The student's room is a tastefully decorated double room, which is in a private part of the house; it is large and light - very close to the main house, but giving privacy at the same time. They also have a fully furnished single room on the first floor. They have the facility to offer a private shower room and toilet.

Family/interests

Penny (1955) is a member of National Trust. They have three boys: The eldest is Thomas, born in 1987, who is at University at the moment. Matthew was born in 1989 and Timothy in 1994. They are interested in cooking, reading, sports, music and gardening. Bob plays golf. The children are very sociable.
