Homestay Tutor in Hove, England

Mark has a degree and a post graduate degree in teaching PGCE and he also holds the TESOL Certificate. His wife, Lana, also holds the CELTA Certificate, as well as the DELTA Certificate. Mark has been a popular host tutor for many years.

Home/location

Mark and Lana have a spacious apartment (900 square ft) on the ground floor of a grand Victorian town house in Brighton, Hove. The house has three bedrooms and a medium sized garden. It is located in the vibrant centre of Hove, only a 5 minutes walk from the beach and a 15 minutes walk (or 5 minutes bus ride) from the centre of Brighton.

Student's room

The student's room is approximately 13' by 10' feet. There's a possibility for one or two single beds, or a double bed for a couple, if required. The room also includes a double size free-standing wardrobe, side-board and a large bookcase. A small tv with Virgin cable service and DVD/CD player is provided as well.

Family/interests

Mark, born in '50, is interested in sports, science, outdoors, theatre, and travelling, among other things. His wife, Lana's (1973) interests include aromatherapy, cooking, crafts, fashion, and gardening.

They also have a daughter, Vicky (1995) and a son (2005).

They have no pets.
