Mallory and George are BOTH ESL certified teachers! Between the two of them they have many years of teaching experience. Both work teaching English part time in the local University. However, during school vacations, they are available to host and teach. They have been involved in the teacher's homestay program for several yearsand have received consistently high marks. 

Home/location

This family's home is located in the heart of the beautiful Sonoma Valley. Famous for it's many wineries, spas, spectacular ocean beaches and quaint villages, it's a huge draw for tourists from all over the world. The more famous 'Napa Valley' is only 20 minutes away. Enjoy the best of both 'country living' and large city life...San Francisco is also one convenient hour away! The home is on a secluded 'lane' and is a two story California style bungalow. It has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It was been recently remodled and is simply but tastefully decorated. It has a lovely outdoor area, that was originally remodled to serve as a backdrop for their daughters wedding.

Student's room

The students room is a large and airy room complete with a private bath. Plenty of privacy and quiet enough for doing homework etc.

Family/interests

This couple is in their late 50's. Their three children are grown and living on their own but are frequent visitors. They love showing visitors around the area, and also bringing them into San Francisco for shopping and sightseeing. They are an active couple with many divers interests, including traveling, entertaining, reading etc. They are remained friends with many of their past students, and have a number of returning guests.

Pets

Currently they have on elderly cat.

Theirs is a non smoking household.
