Lorna holds a degree in Modern History and Economics. She worked in corporate world and retail companies before turning to EFL, for which she holds the CELTA Certificate. Lorna has taught in China and she has taught as a one-to-one Business tutor in London. She was Director of Studies and holds the DELTA. Her husband is a software manager.

Home/location

Their house is a 1950s detached house decorated in a contemporary style. They have a lounge, conservatory, study, playroom, kitchen/dining room and student's room (plus ensuite bathroom) downstairs, with a further three bedrooms and family bathroom upstairs. They also have a large back garden. They live in Harpenden (close to London), a quintessential English market town, with a lively high street.

Student's room

The student would have a tastefully decorated downstairs double bedroom, overlooking the garden including own bathroom with toilet, basin and power shower.

Family/interests

Lorna, born in 1969, and her husband John, born in 1966, share an interest in history, current affairs, cinema, cycling, family, outdoors, and travelling.

They have two sons: Nathan (2003) and Callum (2005).

Pets

They only have a guinea pig and a fish.
