Bob is a qualified state school teacher with a BSc and Advanced Diploma in Education. He has a lot of one-to-one experience and has prepared students for the Cambridge exams and GMAT. He lectures on geology and also does "geological walks".

Home/location

They live in a comfortable home in the lovely Spa town of Buxton. It is a historic town famous for the quality of its spring water, a beautiful place to visit. Their home is a large, Edwardian house within easy walking distance of the town centre. Buxton is close to Manchester and other places of interest. York is also accessible by train.

Student's room

One of two comfortable rooms. They have the facility to offer a private shower room and toilet. This private use may be guaranteed by payment of the Prestige Option. There is broadband internet connection in this house.

Family/interests

Bob and Cherry are interested in philately, aeromodelling, geology, sports, theatre, cooking, walks, gardening, music and computers. They are members of the National Trust and happy to take students to see the wealth of attractions to be found in Buxton and the surrounding countryside, as well as in Manchester. Their children are both living in Sheffield and visit occasionally.
