Leonie holds certificates in Teaching Business English, one-to-one English, teaching young people, limited resources, and an intensive grammar course. She has been hosting and teaching English in her home since 2002, and she has had over 50 successful students attending courses with her. Leonie is conscientious and thorough in her course design and very active with all her students out of lesson time. Her partner is musician and music therapist.

Home/Location

They live in a large, 6 bedroom house with a garden and balcony. There is a large open plan living area on the lower ground, with kitchen and dining area, and patio doors to the garden. The house is located right in the centre of this lovely seaside town.

Student’s Room

They have two rooms to offer. The first room is a large room with twin beds and doors that open onto the balcony. If the other room is empty, students in this room have exclusive use of a bathroom. The second room is a bit smaller and has bunk beds. It has a large window, overlooking the front garden.

Family/Interests

They have a big family and it is an 'open house'. Leonie's interests include art, cooking, family, gardening, and photography. Her husband, Steve likes cars, computers, current affairs, photography, and music (guitar and piano). They have six children, and three of them are still living at home.
