Louise is a widely-experienced teacher for all ages, all levels, and all contexts, including specialist one-to-one teaching. She is a qualified teacher in her own right with additional RSA CELTA for teaching English as a foreign language and the LCCI FTBE for teaching Business English. Louise and her husband have hosted homestay students for some time with excellent results.

Home/location

They live in Brighton, in a beautiful, peaceful area on the edge of the South Downs yet within only a twenty minute bus journey tot the city and the sea. They have wifi Internet connection.

Student's room

A comfortable, pleasantly decorated room with extensive views of the Downs is offered for a single student or a married couple. It is light and airy with a well-lit working area.

Students are assured of a warm welcome, pleasant, interesting excursions to the lovely English countryside and small towns, as well as excellent progress in their language requirements.

Family/interests

They enjoy reading, music, playing the guitar, walking, and gardening. They also like to visit the historic houses and gardens belonging to the National Trust.

They provide a varied menu of healthy, wholesome food, including some home produce and traditional English dishes.

Their children are married, with young families.

They have no pets.
