Mike has a CELTA certificate from a good training college. He worked in the Advertising/Public Relations sector before making a change to teaching. He also has experience preparing students for the IELTS exam.

Home/location

They live in a large Edwardian house with the shopping area/bus stops only 30 seconds walk away. The 12 kilometer beach is just 2 minutes' walk! The train station is just 5 minutes' walk away - fast trains to London take approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. They have wi-fi.

Student's room

Comfortable, well-furnished single or double room on the first floor. They have the facility to offer a private shower room and toilet.

Family/interests

Mike is interested in walking, he's a member of a Health club which students can go to. They have a small motor boat and he enjoys bird watching, cinema, cooking food, wine, golf, nature/outdoors, reading and travelling.

His partner Tricia is interested in badminton, bird watching, cooking, food wine, cycling, D.I.Y., family, flying, interior design, music, nature/outdoors, reading, literature, poetry and writing.

Pets

They have a gentle dog called Sam.

Smoking

The family does not smoke and only accept smokers who smoke outside.
