Essential Information for your Stay
We want you to have an enjoyable stay as well as excellent tuition. We aim to provide a first class service. Should you have any reason to call us or need any information that your teacher cannot help you with, please remember we are at the other end of the telephone.
Student Feedback Procedure
On the first Monday or Tuesday of your course, we will call you to see you have settled in and are happy with your accommodation, course etc. We also ask you to complete a Student Opinionnaire to tell us about your experience, so we can act on the feedback you give us.
The cost of excursions
Remember that the cost of your course includes all your meals and tuition, but not the cost of any trips or excursions. If you wish your teacher, or another family member, to accompany you on cultural excursions or sporting activities, you are expected to pay all expenses, including entrance fees and sports charges, for both of you. You will find that such courtesy will be generously repaid by your family.
If you have a problem
We hope you will be very happy on your course, but if you are unhappy about anything, please discuss it first with your teacher - they will be very sympathetic. If this is difficult, please call our office at any time during office hours (we have an emergency telephone number for out of hours). In extreme cases and where there is genuine complaint, we will change your teacher, quickly and discreetly. During your course, you have the constant possibility of discussing any problems directly with InTuition Languages. Please note that we cannot accept complaints after the course has finished if you have not mentioned the problem to us during your course.
Medical Insurance in U.K and Ireland
Medical treatment is available free to students from E.U. member states (plus, in Britain, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Malta, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia and the C.I.S, Former Yugoslavia). If you are from another country and staying less than 6 months you will have to obtain medical insurance. Students staying more than 6 months in Britain will be accepted by the National Health Service for free medical treatment as long as the illness develops whilst in Britain.
At the end of your course
At the end of your course we ask if you can complete your Student Opinionnaire in confidence and return it to us in the envelope provided. We also need to keep your Personal Study Plan and Weekly Lessons sheets so that we can maintain our quality standards. At the end of the course you will receive a Certificate of Attendance. If you are on a Professional English course you will receive a full written report as a follow-up to your course, upon request.
